I've been applying Honest Company Healing Balm religiously with no relief. I feel like I am on top of taking care of my skin. I make sure that I am always moisturizing so that my skin is never dry. Thankfully a full face of makeup distracts from he patches of dry skin.
Besides my skin being very dry I have also been dealing with dry hair. I've been using a number of differently leave in products that I am very happy with. However I thought that it might be best to my hair care routine.
Have you ever used a fragrance free shampoo or conditioner? I tend to be sensitive to scents so I find that this product doesn't aggravate me. I've used this a few times since receiving it and quite like the way it leaves my hair feeling. If you are interested in purchasing it from the website I went to: https://allurials.com/product/allurials-fragrance-free-conditioner-hair-types-men-women/
Are there any hair products that you would recommend for dry hair that is prone to breakage?
Thank you,
Angela Zimsky

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing for my own dry hair is to double-condition, and never wash the ends. I get in the shower, wet my hair, and apply conditioner to my ends right away. Then shampoo my head and scalp, ignoring the ends until I'm totally finished working the lather into my scalp. Then I'll run my hands down my "ponytail" just to get the soap running down before I rinse. Afterward, I condition again, and this has made the biggest difference. Usually the next morning when I get up, I'll brush my hair, and then put just a little coconut oil in my palm to liquefy. Rub my hands together briskly, and then run that through the ends of my hair. No brushing again after that though, because I don't want to track that oil back up to my scalp. It takes about ten minutes or so to really soak into my hair (I just use very little), and then I'm good for that day.
